- Use a² + b² = c² for a right triangle.
- Find a missing leg or hypotenuse.
- Apply the theorem to distance and word problems.
Worked example
A right triangle has legs 3 and 4. c² = 3² + 4² = 9 + 16 = 25, so c = 5. The hypotenuse is the longest side.
How the Ladder Works
Six levels run from Warm-Up to Mastery. Warm-Up has five questions; later sets grow to eight or nine depending on the topic. Clear a level with at least 80% first-try accuracy. Every level is available from the start, and retries produce fresh questions.
Hints and worked solutions support practice. Grades 8–10 is a guide, not a restriction.
