Linear Equations Practice
Practice solving one- and two-step linear equations, checking solutions, and building confidence one level at a time.

- Undo addition and subtraction on both sides.
- Solve multiplication and two-step equations.
- Work with brackets, variables on both sides, and word problems.
Worked example
Solve 3x + 4 = 19. Subtract 4 from both sides: 3x = 15. Divide both sides by 3: x = 5. Check: 3 × 5 + 4 = 19.
How the Ladder Works
Six levels run from Warm-Up to Mastery. Warm-Up has five questions; later sets grow to eight or nine depending on the topic. Clear a level with at least 80% first-try accuracy. Every level is available from the start, and retries produce fresh questions.
Hints and worked solutions support practice. Grades 7–10 is a guide, not a restriction.
